And somehow, it’s December again.
Another year has gone by and still the novel isn’t done.
Take heart, you are not alone. I hear from writers every day who find themselves stuck in loops of frustration.
- I’m looking at everything, and I can’t figure out where the story is.
- I keep revising, but all I’m really doing is rearranging the deck chairs.
- If I was going to be able to get there, I feel like I would have gotten there.

Let’s tackle this thing together!
Come with the story you’ve been carrying. Leave with a plan to get it done.

- Download your December worksheetA series of questions to think about over the holidays so that you’re ready to get started on January 1

Which holding patterns are you stuck in?
You’re not struggling because you don’t know how to write.
I’ll get back to it when things calm down.
All I was doing was rearranging the words.
All this stuff that’s not actually the story.
I think I’m going back more than I’m going forward.
I can’t figure out where the story is.
That’s why I’m getting nowhere: the isolation.
Sound familiar? Each of these is a symptom of a holding pattern. In the webinar, you’ll gain clarity, learn how to break free, and get writing!
Your 2027,
one month at a time
In the webinar, you’ll create a customized writing plan for 2027: start with the draft you have today, anticipate what each month will require, and envision holding your finished manuscript.
Start with a plan
End with a finished draft
Already have a draft that needs rewriting? We’ll talk about how to plan for that too.

It took me eight years to finish my first novel. It doesn’t have to take that long.
I was working full time with two little kids, getting up at 5 AM to write, and wasting a lot of time on classes that didn’t help and books that never got to the point.
What changed wasn’t talent. It was support, deadlines, a honest feedback, and the meditation practice that (all together) became the Sit Write Here coaching program. I finished the book, found an agent, and wrote several more books in just a few years.
Now I’m on a mission to help writers reach the finish line in far less time than it took me.
“I’m not special. I just finally stopped trying to do it alone.”

Frequently asked questions
What if none of the webinar times work for me?
Register for any one session and we’ll send you the replay afterward.
I already have a full draft. Is this for me?
If you know it needs rewriting, yes. We will talk about how to handle a big pile of pages that doesn’t feel like a finished draft.
My draft is huge or messy. Will this help?
Definitely. We’ll talk about how to find the one book inside everything you’ve written.
I work full time. Can I really do this?
Absolutely. During the webinar you’ll create a plan that works for you. Many of the writers I work with have full-time jobs or long shifts. Don’t let that stop you.
Is it really free?
Yes. If you’ve ever attended any of my webinars you know I pack them full of valuable, free writing advice. At the end, I will take a few minutes to share how we can work together privately, one-on-one, if you want to, but either way you’ll walk away with a new perspective on your writing.
