Every Friday at 9:30am PST I host an online meditation and writing group. We meditate for 10 minutes, then shift directly into writing. When the hour is up, you can either log off and keep writing or hang out for a bit and chat with the other writers in the group.

Things to know:
- Everyone is welcome.
- This is not a critique group.
- There will be a prompt for those who want one, but we mostly bring projects in progress.
- While we don’t read our work out loud to the group, participants are encouraged to support each other outside of our weekly sits.
- You don’t need to have any experience meditating. All religions are welcome. We simply practice mindfulness as a way to focus our minds before writing.
If you’ve never tried meditation, this is a great opportunity to experience how focusing the mind can lead to some really productive writing.
If you’re an experienced meditator, this is a wonderful way to connect with other like-minded writers.
